Rioting on our Streets

The truly extraordinary events on the streets of England’s major towns last week are a very stark reminder of how fragile society has become in this country. It appears, for whatever reason, young people have grown up with very little respect for what most would consider the basic rules of a free society. Violence to others and the theft of their property has happened on a frightening scale. We can all be hopeful that lessons will be learned to ensure such events do not reoccur. However, sadly, it is a reminder of the need for vigilance. It is not surprising that one of the main reasons purchasers of Audley village properties identify security as the primary reason for moving.
